- Expand the referral network by seeking recommendations from existing connections.
- Enhance BMO's community visibility by participating in industry events and conferences.
- Act as a customer advocate throughout the mortgage application and processing stages.
- Provide comprehensive marketing and administrative support to maintain strong relationships with referral partners.
- Deliver exceptional customer service that fosters trust through expertise and responsive communication.
- Organize events and seminars to appreciate customers and educate them on mortgage options.
- Guide clients through the mortgage application process and collaborate with branch teams to finalize documentation.
- Address and escalate issues to ensure customer satisfaction and timely fund disbursement.
- Identify client needs for various banking products and refer them to appropriate BMO specialists.
- Develop tailored solutions based on an understanding of business strategies and stakeholder requirements.
- Support the execution of strategic initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct independent analyses to address strategic challenges.
- Document updates in internal systems to provide visibility on customer opportunities and transactions.
- Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations for business improvement.
- Engage with third-party professionals to cultivate relationships that generate referrals for real estate lending solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies throughout the mortgage approval process.
- Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the customer experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information in line with established policies.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic understanding of portfolio management and credit qualification standards.
- In-depth knowledge of the mortgage lending process and applicable regulations.
- Strong interpersonal, sales, and customer service skills.
- Expertise in personal lending and relationship management.
- Familiarity with personal banking, investments, and commercial lending.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
