Under the direction of the Director of Clinic Administrative Services and in collaboration with the Lead Central Registration Clerk, is responsible for: insurance verification; coordinating insurance authorizations; assisting clients with insurance eligibility; communicating insurance matters effectively to clients and staff; answering phones; greeting clients and visitors; checking in clients; centralized scheduling of appointments for all medication providers, clinicians and psychologists; managing medication provider schedules; data entry; collecting insurance co-payments; collection of past due account balances; updating client information; providing administrative support to the program; and other duties as necessary. This position would be a split role, or as determined by program needs, between central registration clerk and administrative clerk.
