Beckman Coulter Life Sciences develops, manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and foster new developments in complex Life Sciences and biomedical testing.   • Promote and sell a novel line of NGS automation products in the assigned territory to meet or exceed sales targets by using the company tools and processes
  • Build customer relationships within both Research and Diagnostic space to support growth and expansion of new product line.
  • Initiate and support development of new business opportunities by visiting customers regularly
  • Execute tactical and strategic action plans to achieve sales and financial targets in the defined geography
  • Manage territory through daily funnel and weekly forecast management
  • Regular use of CRM to build and progress robust funnel
  • Develop and manage to a business plan to meet or exceed business goals for the territory
  • Travel within territory to support and reach as wide of customer base as possible
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific specialization
  • 5+ years field sales experience in the Life Sciences and/or Diagnostics field or Masters with 3+ years experience selling Scientific lab equipment with an emphasis on medium to large scale automation platforms
  • Experience working directly with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms and chemistries is preferred
  • Previous hands-on molecular biology laboratory experience highly desirable
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude and solid business acumen
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization
  • Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced and action-oriented environment
