  • Provide detailed design, development and data architecture solutions for Data Privacy platforms. Lead design reviews and solutioning sessions with engineers, Business.
  • Partner with the business teams to further implement data privacy and data compliance standards.
  • Provide design, unit testing, implementation, enforcement and monitoring of data compliance standards and controls.
  • Responsible for data mapping, code management, service integration approach and release implementation.
  • Provide Tier 2 and some levels of Tier 3 production support for Truist Data Privacy platform applications.
  • Participate in testing, implementation, maintenance, and escalated support of Truist's most complex solutions.
  • Development includes but is not limited to customized coding, software integration, analysis, configuring solutions, or use tools pertinent to the area, project, or system to configure or generate a solution.
  • Ensure adherence to company and industry standards. Provides technical consultation on extremely challenging or unusual situations.
  • Write and run unit tests.
  • Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
  • Interpret internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices.
  • Use sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
  • Mentor less experienced teammates to build technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
  • Must have 8 years of progressive experience in software development or IT consulting positions utilizing/performing the following:
  • Providing subject matter expertise in Data Privacy, Preference and Consent Management, and Master Data Management applications.
  • Working closely with business team(s) to understand the legal and compliance requirements related to client preferences for better design of the solution.
  • Planning and managing projects and solving complex problems by applying best practice
  • Analyzing the requirements, design, development and deployment and leading complete teams in delivering and deploying the solution.
  • Providing direction and mentoring less experienced teammates.
  • Leveraging extensive knowledge of trends in the banking industry and path-breaking to propose pilots, proof-of-concepts, and solutions that help extend competitive advantage over competitors.
  • Solving complex technical and business problems specific to data privacy, preferences and consent management, master data management applications.
  • Building apps and/or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level using: Java, J2EE, API, MuleSoft and ETL technologies
  • Leading discussion(s) to enable the DevOps, Automation of various manual tasks.
  • Applying strong understanding of SOA methodologies and service architectures
  • Using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
  • Relational database design and development

  • Position may be eligible to work remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours' notice.
