Position Description-
The School of Music at the University of Northern Colorado invites applications for a contract-renewable position as Assistant Professor of Jazz Trumpet. The successful candidate will recruit and maintain a strong private studio, direct jazz performing groups and/or teach classes based on the candidate's experience and the needs of the jazz studies program, and contribute to the success of the school.

Minimum Requirements-
Master's degree in music and significant professional experience. Record of successful teaching and professional creative activity. Proven experience as, or potential to become, a successful recruiter. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
