About the Job Opportunity

iCapital is seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to contribute to the SIMON platform powered by iCapital. As an SDET, you will leverage your expertise in agile development practices to collaborate effectively with the Development and Testing team. The ideal candidate should be an independent problem-solver, capable of enhancing existing automation test frameworks and collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure seamless feature-based testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of robust automated test suites
  • Integration of automated test suites into current build and deployment processes
  • Adaptation of automated tests to reflect system design changes
  • Integration of Automation framework with existing tools (JIRA)
  • Creation and management of defect workflows through automated testing
  • Design and presentation of relevant metrics to bolster automation test processes
  • Development and execution of performance test suites
  • Conduct various types of testing including Functional, API, Automation, Performance, and Load

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of QA engineering delivery experience
  • Experience working within Agile SDLC/teams with CICD
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree is a plus
  • Proficiency in Java programming with a focus on BDD, TDD, and design patterns
  • Experience with Java microservices, REST APIs, and exposure to React frontend
  • Familiarity with Agile development principles
  • Skills in Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse
  • Knowledge of CICD tools like Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
  • Preferably exposure to banking or finance environments
  • Experience with testing tools such as Junit, WebdriverIO, Protractor, JMeter, or similar

The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $140,000. Along with a competitive salary, iCapital provides equity to all full-time employees, an annual performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package inclusive of retirement plan matching, subsidized healthcare, dental, vision, telemedicine, mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
