About the Role

iCapital Network is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our Development and Testing team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated test suites, integrating them with our build and deployment processes, and maintaining them to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a mid-sized team of developers and testers
  • Build and implement automated test suites using Java and behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Integrate automated test suites with our current build and deployment processes
  • Maintain automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture
  • Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution
  • Build and implement performance test suites
  • Perform all types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing
Qualifications
  • 10-12 years of experience in QA engineering, with some software development experience
  • 4+ years of delivery experience within Agile SDLC/teams, ideally with CICD
  • Programming experience in Java, with a focus on BDD and TDD, and design patterns, ideally within CICD
  • Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs, and exposure to React front-end
  • Agile development approach
  • Technologies: Java, JavaScript, IntelliJ/Eclipse, CICD: Maven, Sonar, Git, Teamcity/Jenkins, Docker
  • Exposure to banking and/or finance environments preferred
What We Offer
  • Base salary range: $150,000 to $170,000
  • Compensation package includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including an employer-matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO)
  • Flexible work arrangement, with the option to work remotely two days a week
