About the Role

iCapital Network is seeking a skilled Software Developer in Test to join our team. As a key member of our Development and Testing team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated test suites, integrating them with our build and deployment processes, and maintaining them to accommodate changes in system design and architecture.

Responsibilities
  • Build and implement automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.
  • Integrate automated test suites with our current build and deployment processes to streamline our testing workflow.
  • Maintain automated tests to accommodate changes in system design and architecture, ensuring our software remains stable and efficient.
  • Integrate our automation framework with existing tools, such as JIRA, to enhance our testing capabilities.
  • Create and manage defect workflows with automated test execution to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Design and publish meaningful metrics to support automation test creation and execution, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and implement performance test suites to ensure our software meets performance and scalability requirements.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing, to ensure our software meets quality and reliability standards.
Qualifications
  • 8 years of experience in QA engineering delivery, with some software development experience also considered.
  • 2+ years of delivery experience within Agile SDLC/teams, ideally with CICD.
  • Programming experience in Java, with a focus on behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD), and design patterns, ideally within continuous integration (CICD).
  • Experience with Java microservices and REST APIs, and exposure to React front-end development.
  • Agile development approach.
