Position Summary

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Paralegal to be the second paralegal to join our dynamic, high-growth beauty company and be a key partner in the legal department. Proximity to one of our offices located in Oakland, CA, New York City, NY or Los Angeles, CA is preferred but we will consider remote candidates as well. Each of our offices is currently open in a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

This role is responsible for providing high-level legal support to our small in-house legal team (one General Counsel, two Assistant General Counsels, and one Senior Paralegal and Contracts Manager) and entire organization. This role will provide interaction with all e.l.f. Beauty employees from the C-suite to the newest hires.

The ideal candidate will have previous corporate legal experience, previous contract management experience, and have exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

· Provide legal support to the legal team and the entire organization

· Act as a primary point of contact for company-wide commercial contract negotiations to ensure efficient delivery and best practice utilization

· Draft, negotiate and manage various legal documents, including contracts, templates, summaries, organizational documents, reports, correspondence, presentations and other ancillary documents

· Help maintain contract repository within organization's contract lifecycle management platform (Pramata)

· Assist the organization's overall growth and expansion efforts through playing a key role in onboarding/setting up new subsidiaries or other international growth initiatives

· Help manage domestic and international subsidiaries, including assisting with entity filings

· Assist in preparing various filings, including corporate and regulatory filings

· Conduct general legal research on various legal issues, including on intellectual property, contracts, employment law, and data privacy

· Assist with due diligence for potential M&A deals

· Assist with trademark and copyright clearance searches, filings, portfolio management, and dispute resolution

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience required

· Minimum 5+ years of experience as a paralegal professional required

· In-house paralegal experience strongly preferred

· Must have excellent database skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Teams, and a willingness to learn other systems

· Experience with Pramata a plus

· Strong verbal and written communication skills
