SME Contracts Support | 100k – 150k/yr | 9-Month Contract-to-hire | Remote with Restrictions

Description:

Provide support for advisory and day to day contract governance, solicitation, strategic planning and administration of current and future contracts.

Support contract management and sourcing advisory activities which include but are not limited to the following; assist with the ongoing cross vendor meetings and working sessions; assist in addressing cross vendor issues; and develop sourcing best practices recommendations.

Develop and maintain documents which include but are not limited to; reporting templates and policies; create tools to support management of contracts and acquisitions; draft meeting schedules, agendas, expectations, and standard processes.

Support sourcing meetings with contractors and facilitate meetings as needed; perform coaching and mentoring in sourcing activities as needed; support ongoing trend and detailed analyses across the vendor ecosystem with regard to performance, financials, and service delivery.

Provide ongoing support for general contract oversight of other contracts and provide acquisition management support which includes acting as advisors on acquisition package development, proposal evaluations, and acquisition activities.

Support the tracking of weekly reporting such as, but not limited to; the Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) report; acquisition and procurement initiatives and planning support.

Draft, develop, and review pertinent acquisition documentation such as, but not limited to, acquisition planning documents and selection recommendation reports selection recommendation reports and acquisition planning documents.

Support ASB customers in collecting program requirements and contractual selection criteria; support TEP activities such as, but not limited to, consolidation of consensus documents, facilitation of TEP discussions, gathering of feedback and responding to vendor questions/comments.

Support Contracting Officer (CO) communications with vendors and other external parties.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Extensive Information Technology (IT) Acquisition experience from the contracting or program side or a combination thereof. This experience must include successfully playing a substantial role in the award or management of complex, large dollar IT and IT professional services acquisitions.

An in-depth understanding of the Federal contracting process inside or outside of a Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) regulated environment.

Demonstrated familiarity and comfort level with current technology and IT Acquisition trends and terminology.

A proven highly skilled communicator, both verbally and written.

An innovative leader who inspires teams to breakthroughs and success regardless of whether or not the team members are direct reports.
