The Water Technologies and Solutions, Analytical Instruments product line business has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Technical Writer in Boulder, CO.

Position Purpose
The Manufacturing Technical Writer assumes a pivotal responsibility in ensuring top-tier customer service by creating and maintaining precise internal operational content, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids. The incumbent gathers knowledge from across the organization and makes the information easily accessible to the Supply Chain team. Their specific duties encompass leading the creation and updates of supply chain work instructions, coordinating training documentation for supply chain employees, and collaborating on ISO-required directives with the quality department. The focus lies in supporting a diverse team in a dynamic production environment, covering tasks from New Product Introductions (NPIs) to implementing and documenting job training programs. This role ensures that all team members meet their training requirements, and the information is thoroughly documented and easily accessible.

Duties & Responsibilities
Work Process and Procedure Documentation
Update existing documentation to ensure processes and procedures are correct and capture best practices, ensuring documentation is easy to use and geared towards all audiences Work collaboratively with subject matter experts to collect and organize technical content related to work processes and procedures, ensuring the creation of clear and accurate documentation for new processes and procedures
Training Documentation
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and sustaining the process to track, record, and manage documentation of required training for supply chain employees, ensuring alignment between training materials and documented processes and procedures
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Exceptional organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced work environment Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, or Viso Ability to read, interpret, and analyze documents such as safety rules, assembly instructions, and general technical procedures Experience working in a document-controlled environment, participating in engineering/document change notices, and utilizing an ERP system A strong commitment to product quality and safety standards Robust administrative skills Capacity to understand and explain technical information
Core Qualifications
Required:
Associate's Degree in a technical program or a related field or,Two years of applicable experience CAD/SolidWorks or similar experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or another related major 3 years or more of experience in documentation or relevant supply chain experience

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.
