What You'll Be Responsible For:
  • Guiding and supervising a team of production planners and master schedulers to establish, implement, and execute the site's daily production schedule and the 3-to-18-month master production schedule, along with rough-cut capacity plans.
  • Leading structured problem-solving processes to ensure timely deliveries and meet market expectations and site objectives.
  • Spotting process and skill gaps to set performance and development goals for your team members, nurturing individual growth and meeting the site's needs and objectives.
  • Owning all Master Planning and Production Control tasks within the Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) framework, encompassing various activities from capacity planning to lead time analysis and production schedule management.
  • Being responsible for monthly delivery metrics such as on-time delivery, production plan schedule adherence, and other essential production planning KPIs.
  • Collaborating with the distribution planning team to devise a balanced master production plan for specific product lines and fulfillment strategies.
  • Contributing to establishing and upholding the PSI process for the Duncan site in conjunction with the distribution planning team.
Who We're Looking For:
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field, coupled with at least 6 years of experience in a production/materials planning role in manufacturing OR Possess an Associate's degree in the mentioned fields with a minimum of 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 12 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Bring at least 4 years of experience leading a production &/or materials planning team.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' experience in production/materials planning utilizing SAP MRP/ERP systems.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in managing diverse fulfillment portfolios and utilizing continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN, Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, or equivalents.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Manufacturing Planning and Control including Sales & Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, and more.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification or similar.
  • Hold a Master's Degree in Business or Supply Chain.
  • Prior experience in demand planning/forecasting &/or direct S&OP roles.
