As a Business Continuity Manager Sr within PNC's Enterprise Technology and Security organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Birmingham, AL, Phoenix, AZ or Dallas, TX. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager's discretion.
The Business Continuity Manager Sr will be responsible for driving the strategy of adjusting, building, developing, maintaining and testing the Company's business continuity program for Enterprise Technology and Security through impact analysis, risk assessment, update plans for stronger resiliency and testing.
Your team will lead dry run exercises, work on new initiatives, improve on operational resiliencies, identify critical processes and channels for customers and engineering capabilities to those systems to strengthen their resistant to outages.
This high-level leader will also advise and guide senior leadership to prepare for emergencies and other disruptive events. The ability to navigate through crisis management and deploy the business continuity plan will be important for your success in this role.
PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
Job Description
- Governs the business continuity function and lifecycle for a large business segment to ensure the organization proactively plans and effectively responds to potential crises. Plans and oversees the execution of the organizations crisis response.
- Leads planning and testing strategy for a large business segment. Oversees the execution of business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning. Acts as a subject matter expert on business continuity issues.
- Provides insight to the vision and direction for business continuity lifecycle planning, including the business impact analysis, risk assessment, recovery planning and recovery testing. Ensures vision and direction are in alignment with Enterprise-Wide strategy.
- Guides the organizations' business units through the development of their crisis management plans, ensuring they have complied with organization-wide strategies.
- Creates an environment of consistent and effective crisis management that protects the business, builds relationships and develops awareness and accountability for crisis management. Supervises the development and delivery of training on business continuity.

Work ExperienceRoles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
