We are part of the Digital Experimentation and Insights team within the Enterprise Digital and Data Services organization at American Express. Our mission is to use data to drive and test actionable insights to propel customer acquisition, engagement, and satisfaction resulting in business growth.

As senior manager, you will serve as a budding subject matter expert on creating and assessing key performance metrics. This includes building data solutions and self-service tools and dashboards, collecting and analyzing data from various sources, developing insight frameworks, and using digital experimentation to identify strategic and optimization opportunities to drive desired business outcomes – profitable acquisition of prospects and expansion/retention of customer relationships.

In this role you will partner with product and marketing to enable business growth through data-driven customer insight. You will focus on a product and/or customer segment vertical and seek to deeply understand the interaction between customers and our digital assets with the goal of improving site and conversion performance.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Gather and organize critical business data for analysis of online customer journeysDiscover key insights related to digital product performance and the customer experience through the acquisition funnelBuild visualizations and deliver meaningful reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions in product developmentPartner with UX research, product development, engineering, and marketing teams to develop robust solutionsCollaborate on product roadmaps by assessing potential business opportunities and measuring feature performanceDesign and conduct experiments to improve end-to-end experiences that drive growth across all digital channelsLead and develop data analyst talent within the team by sharing findings and adopting best practices Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in digital analytics using Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or ContentsquareStrong quantitative background & analytical abilities necessary; advanced quantitative degree preferredExperience in Design of Experiments (A/B & Multivariate testing)Strong programming skills in SQL and/or HIVE, Python experience a plusExperience in data analysis and visualization, including in big data environmentsStrong communication and presentation skills2-3 years of experience in people management and engaging senior leaders Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
