Position: Senior Project Manager (Data Analytics)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (REMOTE)

Summary:

  • Paradigm Technology is seeking to expand its Digital Practices PMO with a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for creating project plans, sprints, and comprehensive work plans in a client-facing, consulting role
  • The Senior Project Manager will be involved in the planning, management, and completion of multiple IT projects, including Data Analytics, according to the Agile SDLC
  • The Senior Project Manager will align with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • The Senior Project Manager will work with stakeholders as well as run extremely effective projects and programs on compressed timelines with grace and maturity
  • The Senior Project Manager will articulate the business value to executive leadership and effectively communicate with the technical team to ensure the successful completion of projects
  • This position is Remote with occasional possible travel

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, scope, plan, organize, manage, and execute complex projects across multiple cross-functional organizations and stakeholders
  • Work with stakeholders and project team to develop project schedule and budget
  • Build complex project/Sprint plans with multiple workstreams to keep project delivery on track
  • Manage cross-functional projects/programs simultaneously on a global scale according to the full SDLC using Agile methodologies
  • Conduct daily standups as well as run internal and external meetings with a variety of teams and set clear expectations on the agenda
  • Monitor team performance, driving continuous improvement and removing impediments which could prevent the team from delivering the Sprint goal/deliverables
  • Manage project budgets, including burn rate, revenue, and profitability for time and material as well as fixed fee engagements
  • Anticipate and manage risks and issues as they arise, take measures to correct when they occur, and escalate appropriately in a timely manner
  • Document and help client Project Manager coordinate interdependencies between various projects and programs
  • Contribute to the thought capital through the creation of executive status reports
  • Determine process health metrics and key performance indicators as well as build data visualization reports illustrating program health
  • Assist in QA activities by spot checking development code using SQL, as needed
  • Author, edit, and present technical user stories, as needed
  • Write statements of work and project charters
  • Drive successful solution adoption with stakeholders and project team

Qualifications:

  • 8-10+ years of Information Technology (IT) experience as a Program/Project Manager
  • Experience with managing Data Analytics projects using Agile methodologies
  • 5+ years of experience with coaching and mentoring delivery teams in Agile frameworks and principles and fostering the team's ability to self-organize
  • 5+ years of experience with managing global teams, including multi-vendor oversight with multiple workstreams
  • 3+ years of experience working for clients in a Consulting role, understanding what it means to be a Strategic Partner to clients in delivering programs
  • Knowledge of several of the following is helpful: Server Technology, AWS or Azure Cloud, Database Systems, Coding, and Security
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Experience with managing multiple projects under tight delivery timelines and budgets with various cultures, environments, and processes
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Jira for scheduling and resource planning
  • Excellent team player with good collaboration and communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered
  • Some working knowledge of Azure DevOps and ServiceNow is preferred
  • CSM/CSPO/PMP Certifications are preferred
