Job Summary...

As the Workflow Coordination Specialist at ASTOUND, you will act as the central hub for operational workflow, akin to an air traffic controller, ensuring that all business operations flow smoothly and efficiently. Your role will be crucial in orchestrating the rhythm of daily activities, maintaining a clear track for projects from inception through to completion, and aligning cross-departmental efforts to optimize overall productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Management: Oversee and schedule daily operational tasks, including production timelines, inventory levels, and resource deployment, to guarantee the timely delivery of products and services.
  • Project Transition Oversight: Facilitate seamless project transitions between departments-from Client Partnership through Account Management, Project Management, Design, CAD, to Production-ensuring clear communication and continuity at each stage.
  • System Optimization: Develop, refine, and uphold efficient operational systems and processes that boost workflow efficiency and departmental synergy.
  • Process Enhancement: Collaborate with various teams to pinpoint operational bottlenecks, devise effective solutions, and spearhead initiatives to enhance procedures.
  • Compliance and Standards: Assist in crafting and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) that comply with legal regulations and industry benchmarks, ensuring a robust operational framework.
  • Communication Facilitation: Manage internal communications, coordinate regular strategy alignment meetings, and maintain open lines of communication across teams to clarify operational objectives and updates.
  • Procurement and Cost Management: Support procurement activities by coordinating with suppliers, securing competitive quotes, and overseeing purchasing decisions to align with production demands and cost-efficiency goals.
  • Financial Oversight: Help prepare operational budgets and financial forecasts, monitor spending, and ensure that expenses align with budgetary constraints.
  • Training Coordination: Organize and implement training programs for staff to enhance knowledge of operational processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact for both internal queries and external stakeholder interactions, providing prompt and precise information when required.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as needed to support the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

You have These:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and supply chain management
  • Excellent organization and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with systems such as Salesforce
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Certification in operations management or supply chain management is a plus.
