Identify accounts to be investigated that are used by each application and associated servers

Work with various tools to gather trending and artifact data to determine how each account is being used

Work with application owners and vendors to validate each accounts usage and purposes

Identify supported method to use for password rotation (Password Safe, Microsoft, manual)

Work with various IT teams and app owners to follow established process to create & coordinate replacement service accounts following standard naming convention

Work with security, app owner and vendor to test out password rotation, and assist with placing successful changes into production

Ensure accounts identified as no longer needed are handed over to the Project Technical Lead (PTL) to process disablement/deletion

Ensure active accounts identified as not service accounts are handed over to PTL for transitioning to proper user accounts

Design, document and follow workflows for each process required to achieve end result, (data gathering/extraction, data analytics, account determination, testing, account transition/password, hand off)

Define test plan for password rotation using new replacement service accounts

Work with security, app team & vendor to test out changes

Work through issue resolution with the security team

Acts as liaison with various app owners and vendors

Explain project goals, requirements, workflow and challenges in a straightforward and concise manner
