Role Overview:

Looking for a skilled Mainframe BA/QA to join our team at Globe Life. As a key team member, you will be responsible for eliciting business and technical requirements, performing testing, and collaborating with various teams to deliver impactful technology solutions. This hybrid position based in McKinney, TX offers the flexibility of working from home on Mondays and Fridays.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Solution Architecture and Product Management to design and develop effective solutions that meet business needs.
  • Participate in refining user stories, sprint planning, and various agile ceremonies.
  • Conduct system integration testing and ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on supported products and technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a technical and quality assurance analyst role.
  • Experience working in a Scrum team and knowledge of agile principles.
  • Insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Mainframe functionality and programming languages.
