Position Summary

The Drumline team member position will perform at both Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games this season, as well as numerous appearances for both internal and external stakeholders. On game days, the promotional team will need to arrive at least two hours prior to the start of each game and work through the completion of the game.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the stage manager to prepare and execute all game night activities
  • Set up and tear down of all equipment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects to different locations
  • Fan engagement/interaction as a Nuggets and Avalanche brand ambassador
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be available to work 90% of Nuggets and Avalanche home games for the seasons, and 50% of playoff games, if necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Set up, perform maintenance, and tear down of all equipment
  • Must have extra availability for rehearsals and added events throughout the season
  • Must be available for auditions on July 25th and August 1st

Performance Requirements/Skills

  • Willingness to take direction from several supervisors
  • Comfortable working in front of large crowds.
  • Desire to work in a professional sports environment
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Over 18 years of age by August 1, 2024
  • Professional Drumline experience, a plus
  • Marching percussion experience is preferred
  • Must be able to read and memorize music at a high level

Compensation

  • $18.29/hr per hour

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

Game nights may require prolonged standing, bending, stooping, stretching, lifting, throwing, etc. Occasionally lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to get around the arena, up and down stairs, and perform manual labor. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record and communicate appropriately with team.
