Job Description
Lead mechanical design efforts, including conceptualization, detailed design, and validation of mechanical systems and components.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing specialists, to integrate mechanical solutions into overall equipment design.Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to assess technical risks, optimize designs, and ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) for 3D modeling, drafting, and simulation of mechanical designs.Manage prototype development and testing activities, analyzing test data to iterate and refine designs.Support manufacturing and assembly processes, providing guidance to ensure efficient production and quality control.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development within the team.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
