US Consumer Services (USCS) is responsible for growing our consumer business in the US, strengthening our leadership position in the premium space, and delivering exceptional, differentiated customer experiences. USCS comprises local sales and marketing, travel and lifestyle services, and consumer products including lending, co-brands, and premium products and benefits.

The Consumer Proprietary Product Management and Loyalty Programs (CPPM&LP) organization is part of US Consumer Services and is responsible for making membership essential through the sourcing and delivery of relevant, differentiated and world-class products & benefits that drive demand and inspire card members to deepen loyalty.

Since its launch in 1984, the Platinum Card has been the pioneer and leader in the Premium Card space. The Platinum Card is built for today's established professionals who expect exclusive experiences, rich travel and lifestyle rewards, and best-in-class service, whether they're across the globe or at home. Platinum is a flagship brand for American Express and drives meaningful consideration across the enterprise.

The US Platinum Product Management Team owns the product strategy, value propositions, and P&L for our US Platinum product. This Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting core aspects of the portfolio strategy – value proposition, servicing and insights. This team member will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure we are delivering valuable benefits, exceptional servicing, and operationally excellent products to our Platinum Card Members. This team member will also support the delivery of critical insights, including product scorecards, engagement metrics tracking, complaints and operational excellence monitoring, and competitive intelligence updates.

This individual will work cross-functionally with key internal partners including Business Development & Partnerships, Travel & Lifestyle Services, Resy and Global Dining, Consumer Banking, Global Services Group, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and more. This role reports to the Senior Manager – US Platinum Card Product Management.

Key Responsibilities:Support the U.S. Platinum Card value propositionCollaborate with partners to enhance Platinum servicingManage portfolio insights, including the P&L and customer feedback; deliver portfolio scorecardsLead complaints monitoring, identification of operational issues and remediationLead competitive insights for the premium credit card landscapeDevelop and implement solutions to streamline reporting/insights and enable real-time visibility for our partners and leadershipMinimum Qualifications1-2 years of related experience, preferred (e.g., product management analyst, management/strategy consulting analyst, financial analyst)Bachelor's requiredStrategic problem solver with attention to detailStrong analytical abilitiesStrong verbal and written communications skillsPassion for and/or thorough understanding of the premium card marketplace and trendsAbility to proactively and independently find opportunities for improvement and drive resultsTeam player with a passion to create the best customer experience for our Card MembersConfidence, personal presence, and comfort interacting with all levels of the organizationAbility to stay calm under pressure and flexible amidst changeAbility to seamlessly juggle multiple projects and prioritiesPreferred QualificationsProficiency in Excel for data analysis and visualizationFamiliarity with competitive analysis and market research methodologiesExperience with performance reporting Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
