KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Director, Finance and Accounting to join our Finance and Accounting organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as overall leader of the divisional finance team, accountable for directing priorities, goal setting, evaluation, resource development and resource allocation; work as a key contributor to compensation assessment; accountable for setting individual compensation within the guidelines
  • Align strategic priorities, financial aspirations, and financial plan across the underlying businesses
  • Lead operational efficiencies by influencing hiring and leveraging decisions, as well as owning the discretionary spend and working capital management procedures
  • Develop and evaluate business cases related to investments for acceptable ROI and financial risks, including deal evaluations
  • Drive future of finance evolution across finance and through the divisional teams through collaboration and innovation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum fifteen years of recent, progressive financial planning and analysis experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment; minimum seven years of recent experience leading a team and driving initiatives
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Knowledge of data retrieval and reporting systems, such as Hyperion Financial Management and Business Objects is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and advanced Excel
  • US Citizenship required
