J Banicki Construction is looking for a Take-Off Specialist to join their team in Phoenix, AZ
As a member of the Banicki Construction estimating team, the Estimating Take-off Specialist is responsible for reading and understanding civil construction plans & Specifications. The main focus will be on performing quantifying earthwork take-offs utilizing our AGTEK software program and also measuring lengths, areas and counts of other various items as shown on the plans utilizing On Screen Take-off or Bluebeam software. This is an entry level position.
Position Description
- Performs accurate, thorough and timely quantity takeoffs using company software format, detail and for heavy civil construction projects.
- Work on multiple projects concurrently with ability to multitask.
- Obtains clarification on plans and specifications from the lead estimator on any particular project.
- Analyzes plan documents and Specifications.
- May Assist the estimating team in soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and vendor pricing input when required.
- Becomes proficient in all computer software programs (AGTEK, On Screen Take-Off ((OST)) Blue Beam) Present findings, changes, or other information to client staff.
Requirements
- AA or higher degree in Construction Management or related education and/ or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 2+ years of Take-off experience on heavy civil construction projects.
- Experience with AGTEK, OST-On Screen Take-off and Bluebeam programs.
- Ability to work with other team members.
