As an advertising Copywriter at Buck Mason, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our brand through compelling storytelling and persuasive copywriting. From crafting product descriptions and social media posts to developing integrated marketing campaigns, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for writing while helping us connect with our audience on a deeper level. This is a part-time freelance position with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our team continues to grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate engaging and on-brand copy for various marketing channels, including website, email campaigns, social media, and advertising materials.
  • Craft compelling product narratives and descriptions that highlight the features, benefits, and heritage behind our products.
  • Conceptualize and execute integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring your ideas to life.
  • Optimize website copy and content for search engines, ensuring maximum visibility and driving traffic to our online store.
  • Provide quality assurance by conducting thorough proofreading and editing of copy to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter, preferably in the apparel or lifestyle industry and preferably with a background working on ad campaigns.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive and compelling copy that drives action and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of brand voice, tone, and storytelling principles.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with keyword research and optimization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
