Job Responsibilities

As an Amazon Go Retail Associate, you'll act as the face of Amazon and help deliver a seamless shopping experience for our customers. We're looking for individuals who have a passion to delight customers, a desire to continuously learn, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Your workday may include the following responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and offer product recommendations
  • Return Processing: Receive, process, and stow returns
  • Inventory Management: Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and count product
  • Store Presentation: Maintain a cleanly and well-stocked store environment
  • Food and Beverage Handling: Prepare, package, and label food items such as burritos, sandwiches, salads, and wraps; please note this may include meat and alcohol handling
  • Equipment Use: Use and clean equipment such as cutting tools, microwaves, and scales

Requirements

Customers can use the Amazon app to enter the store, choose from an assortment of fresh meals and grocery essentials, and go. The checkout-free shopping experience is made possible by our Just Walk Out Technology, which detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual cart.
