Randstad has an immediate position for a Biologist with experience plant transformation research. In this position, you will participate in the critical work of supporting R&D pipeline by supplying transgenic crops for testing. This position is with our client who is a global leader in agricultural research. salary: $24 - $26 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will perform plant tissue culture tasks, inoculation with bacteria, sterile tissue transfer, transfer of plants to soil and data collection. You will be responsible for lab logistics support such as autoclaving, lab supplies preparation etc.

Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, cellular biology, biotechnology or related field is required.
  • Experience working in a laboratory environment is highly desirable.
  • Attention to detail, database experience, ability to work in a team setting, and solid communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Sterile technique experience is a plus.
