Job Description

This role will report directly into the company President and be responsible for:

Developing programs for production equipment and maintaining routings, Bills of Material, drawings, assembly instructions, and visual aids for order processing and production.Providing information for Cable Block Diagrams, assigning cable numbers, and managing cable configuration.Interpreting specifications, communicating requirements to the factory, and reviewing engineering packages for approval.Analyzing processes, implementing improvements for quality and cost reduction, and determining labor and material needs.Developing and documenting procedures and work instructions, and creating tooling and fixturing for production.Acting as a technical liaison to resolve issues, coordinate schedules, and manage material availability.Reviewing and approving fixture purchase specifications, incorporating change notices, and ensuring accurate quotations and cost evaluations.Overseeing accounts for quality and yield, and providing Design for Manufacturing support throughout the product cycle.Meeting training requirements and developing secondary fixtures/tooling as needed.
