Job Description:

We are looking for a Finance Director to oversee all company financial activities to ensure it stays in strong financial standing while implementing all accounting policies and procedures.

This role has overall responsibility for assigned accounting operations and systems as well as associated analysis and report preparation. Additionally, this individual will manage the period-end financial close and subsequent balance sheet account reconciliations.

Job Duties:

  • Provides financial reporting by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data
  • Establishes accounting operational strategies by evaluating trends, establishing critical measurements, determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, designing systems, accumulating resources, resolving problems, and implementing change
  • Provides financial projections and maintains sufficient cash flow of funds by coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, and advising departments on the collection and analysis of data
  • Minimizes legally required taxes by studying regulations, presenting tax strategies to management, and filing return
  • Manage a large number of Student-Athlete contractors with varying payout details

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, in accounting and CPA preferred
  • 5-10 years experience in public accounting, including time in accounts payable and accounts receivables
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior accounting role
