Job Description

Summary:

The Plant HR Manager is responsible for all aspects of HR at the Danville production site, as well as health & safety requirements. This role plays an integral part in enabling a positive employee experience by owning and continuously improving operational and strategic employment practices. As a partner in the business, the HR Manager will support future growth and ensure general policy and regulatory compliance, with broad scope as a leader within the organization. The plant is currently a one shift operation, and this position has one direct report.

What you will do:

Recruiting and hiring
Talent development and succession planning
Promote company core values, such as diversity and inclusion initiatives
Performance management and compensation planning
Training and policy administration
Employee relations and investigations
Community service and engagement strategies, including volunteer events and employee wellness activities
Payroll/timekeeping administration, including leaves of absence, Worker's Comp., and Unemployment claims
HCM system and regulatory reporting, including preparing the site Affirmative Action Plan
Health/safety and environmental responsibilities, including ergonomics and emergency response planning
Involvement in contractor and facilities management

Qualifications:

5+ years of HR experience
3+ years of supervisory experience
SHRM or HRCI certification preferred
