Job Description

BEFORE APPLYING: please note candidates are expected to work longer hours due to the nature of the facility being open 24/7. Employees' schedules vary but they can be at the plant from 7:30-5:30 with flexibility.

Work closely with customer service, sales, and customers to quickly resolve quality issues.Collaborate with NPD and customers to develop fitness-for-use (FFU) specifications, test protocols, and equipment.Identify and implement statistical process control (SPC) systems for quality management.Determine quality improvement parameters using relevant statistical methods for manufacturing processes.Develop sampling plans using attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, and providing recommendations.Ensure products meet company and customer quality standards.Monitor and analyze quality performance.Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to meet quality specifications.Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety and SQF regulations.Maintain compliance with SQF requirements.

The Successful Applicant

Degree in quality, industrial, or mechanical engineering.ASQ certification preferred.2+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Willingness to work and/or on-call off-hours & weekends as needed.

Ideally Experience/ Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.Master's degree beneficial for career advancement.Certification as CQE and/or training in QMS.
