Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: South Chesterfield, VA

Position Overview:

  • Ensuring precise and safe loading and unloading of materials to maintain a streamlined flow within the organization, meeting all company requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting sales orders and instructions to determine materials to be moved, unpacking and examining incoming shipments, preparing outbound products, and handling material requisitions for production lines.
  • Operating industrial equipment like forklifts and electric hoists, labeling materials, assembling bundles, and managing shipping and receiving material inventory.
  • Assisting with inventory counts and performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of Forklift experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience pulling orders in a warehouse setting for 2+ years.

Desired Profile for the Role:

  • Capability to lift 50+ pounds, with the ability to maneuver in tight spaces and handle heavy loads repetitiously.
  • Proficiency in hands-on tasks, with strong communication and organizational skills.
