Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Food Transporter/Delivery Driver to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary supply chain, you will be responsible for delivering food, supplies, and other products to our units and areas of service using a vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick up requisitioned supplies from the staging clerk and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Load orders onto the truck with assistance from the staging clerks in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Unload requisitioned materials at the delivery site and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Collect empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise, and perform routine maintenance on the truck.
  • Interact with coworkers to ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery.
Requirements:
  • A valid state driver's license and a valid food handler's permit where required.
  • Previous class E license and driving experience is preferred but not required.
