We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at BioSpace, Inc. This is a NIGHT SHIFT position on a 12 hour schedule, with 6pm-6:30am days on, 2 days off, and every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare documentation of activities, actions, and/or results
- Read and interpret SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and technical documentation
- Complete required training and ensure proper documentation practices during job activities
- Perform visual inspections, conduct troubleshooting activities, and train others on systems, software, equipment, machines, procedures, and/or processes
- Answer compliance and process questions from others, communicate policies and procedures to employees, and establish visual tracking and other tools to enhance audit readiness and trend analysis
- Gather, organize, and communicate operational information to others, lead and coordinate investigations and studies with little supervision, and participate in spill control, handling of hazardous materials, and first aid
- Use MAXIMO and/or CMMS to manage logistics, attend team meetings to discuss progress, initiatives, and/or other matters, and monitor equipment and/or systems for performance and problem indicators
- Perform data entry, read, understand, and comply with cGMP and SOPs, including general safety, lockouts, and so on, and report process deviations when they occur
- Wear gowning, sterile garments, and PPE as required by specific activities, perform preventative and corrective/emergency maintenance of equipment, systems, and/or facilities without supervision, and ensure proper documentation practices during maintenance processes
- Maintain equipment and systems along with their certification records, monitor and analyze process equipment performance, and perform work required in response to process equipment requests received through the Work Request System
- Read and interpret diagrams, drawings, and other schematics, recommend and initiate activities to ensure area and equipment is maintained in a state of compliance, provide input on the engineering of replacement parts, and conduct safety checks for work group, department, or site
- Perform physical inspections of the site, maintain accurate and complete records, monitor air flow and balance, perform infrared, vibration, pressure, superheat, and subcooling readings, and perform high purity water testing
- Pull necessary parts to complete a work order or ticket, lead process improvement activities and teams to meet strategic goals, and wear harnesses to climb into tanks
- Prior experience in a regulated or cGMP environment
- May require state certification or licensure for certain roles
- High school diploma and certification in a skilled trade (electrical, boiler operations, etc.)
- Associate's degree in a technical discipline desirable
- Experience with building fire systems, plumbing, lighting, HVAC equipment (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, humidifiers, and air dryers), low voltage electrical systems, emergency diesel generators
- Prior experience with CMMS

Our target base pay hiring range for this position is $32.00 per hour. Actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's geographical location, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and knowledge.
