Role Description:

Our goals are aggressive, our market is growing rapidly, and we're looking for a seasoned yet scrappy, creative, and motivated individual to take our website to the next level — continuously driving and reinforcing Allego's market leadership position.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Director of Website Strategy is tasked with aligning our website, App Store listings (iOS, Android), and Peer Review Sites (G2, TrustRadius, Gartner Peer Insights) with our marketing strategies and promotions. In this pivotal role, you'll champion our web strategy, expertly balancing paid and organic tactics to bolster demand generation, with a focus on making our website the premier channel for driving engagement. You'll lead a cross-functional team to optimize our web presence to support growth targets. Your role will involve leveraging analytics to demonstrate the digital marketing programs' impact, improving website experience and conversions. Working in partnership with growth marketing, product marketing, content, and external partners, your efforts will be central to advancing our online footprint. This position is perfect for individuals skilled in orchestrating an effective web strategy, eager to drive innovation and execution in Allego's dynamic, digital-first environment.

How you'll make a difference in this role:

  • Develop and lead a focused strategy using the website to drive pipeline growth, increase conversions, and boost ARR, emphasizing Allego's core capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze site performance to identify improvement opportunities and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Build a compelling online presence that highlights Allego's leadership in revenue enablement, guiding prospects through their decision-making.
  • Manage web projects with clear priorities and efficient communication, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
  • Oversee external agencies and service providers to support strategic web initiatives effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to ensure web strategies support broader business goals.
  • Work with Marketing Ops to enhance site usability and conversion through A/B testing and personalization strategies.
  • Direct CMS management, ensuring the site remains fresh, engaging, and reflective of Allego's value proposition.
  • Support SEO strategy initiatives that increase global visibility and attract a targeted audience, sharing key achievements.
  • Evaluate and optimize the web tech stack to ensure a cutting-edge online presence.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of website management experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS setting.
  • Profound expertise in CMS (Wordpress) digital marketing (Google, LinkedIn, G2, TrustRadius) and marketing automation platforms (Hubspot), encompassing various features like landing pages, forms, workflows, etc.
  • Adeptness in data analytics, reporting tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and the acumen to convert data into actionable strategies.
  • Stellar project management abilities, juggling multiple projects effortlessly.
  • An analytical thinker with an innate curiosity for digital innovations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across various departments.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively, while maintaining a data-driven approach.
  • A result-driven approach, infused with a passion for digital excellence.
  • Certifications for Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads and SEO are a plus.
