Founded in 2022, ARPA-H is a Federal research funding agency that supports transformative biomedical and health breakthroughs – ranging from the molecular to the societal – to provide health solutions for all. ARPA-H advances high-potential, high-impact biomedical and health research that cannot be readily accomplished through traditional research or commercial activity to develop solutions to society's most challenging health problems.
We are interested in individuals who have experience supporting executive-level personnel at a Federal or State agency or major private sector company. New Program (AKA New Start) personnel will provide Front Office support to an ARPA-H Mission Office, regularly interacting with Government leadership - the Office Director, Deputy Director, Assistant Director for Program Management (ADPM), Program Analyst (PA), and technical Program Managers (PMs) - to support the development and approval of new technology development programs.
Responsibilities will include:

- Serving as mission office administrative lead and point of contact (POC) for the new start process; coordinating with Government PMs, their support teams, and office leadership on the process for nominating, reviewing, and approving new start ideas
- Working closely with new start technical support personnel to manage and refine the new start process and the ideas progressing through that process
- Managing and coordinating program documentation activities to assure compatibility with technical and programmatic goals and compliance with ARPA-H Strategic Resources Office (SRO) and SPEAR policies and procedures
- Coordination of program documents to include Program Approval Documents (PADs), Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs), and quad charts
- Compiling information from PMs, copying and binding briefings and reports, formatting slides, planning pre-brief review sessions, providing hard copies, submitting read-ahead documents, obtaining the appropriate releasability through the ARPA-H process, and other related efforts
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any field – substantial relevant occupational experience (~11 or more years) may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
- At least six (6) years relevant experience
- The demonstrated professionalism, maturity, sound judgement, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for daily interactions with executive-level audiences in a dynamic, high-visibility Front Office environment
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting as circumstances dictate

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
