Overview

Ticket sellers are an information center who will understand and operate the ticketing system, and provide excellent customer service to all guests at Asteria Theatre located at Colorado Mesa University.

They must know and understand each event, its seating charts, and configurations of the venues.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $14.50.

Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

This position will remain open until October 26, 2024.

Responsibilities

  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Familiarize yourself with each event (ticket prices, discounts, restrictions, reserved or general admission seating, etc.).
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Know and understand the seating charts and configurations of the facility.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Perform transactions for all events on the ticketing system with efficiency and accuracy.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Collect proper currency or credit card amount for purchase of ticket(s) as well as give back proper number of tickets and correct change.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Communicate and satisfy patrons in the most positive manner possible.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Direct patrons to the nearest ticket taker.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Reconcile all monies received from ticket sales.
  • •"," ":"hybridMultilevel"}" aria-setsize="-1" data-aria-posinset="0" data-aria-level="1">Keep accurate and legible records.

Qualifications
