Job Summary and QualificationsA Kidney Transplant Coordinator is a registered nurse who plans, coordinates, and implements the care and evaluation of a potential transplant recipient or living donor as applicable in both in an out-patient setting.
The scope of the role includes acting as a member of inter-disciplinary team to assess human, financial and material resources of patient and family. Coordinating care and information among medical, ancillary, and nursing staff. Management of a patient caseload consisting of transplant candidates in various stages of evaluation.
Representing the transplant program through involvement in hospital and community activities.
What qualifications you will need:- Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
- Texas RN license or compact state licensure required.
- Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
