Job Description

The Aviation Solutions Division of BAE Systems is searching for a qualified candidate to join the team in support of aircraft site surveys, installations, quality assurance support, aircraft modification system installs, structure modifications and production integration efforts.

The selected candidate must have prior experience with installations, aircraft operations, aircraft maintenance, repairs and modification of equipment, and technical support for integrated systems and subsystems.

Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance and troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate issues. Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

Will travel up to 50% to both local and field locations to support installations, site surveys and quality assurance support.

This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station.
There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in any discipline and 3-5 years of related work experience (additional years of experience in aircraft avionics may be substituted for the degree)
Knowledge of quality assurance
Experience with cable production, harness assembly, and connector integration
Knowledge of safety/safe work environment (HAZMAT or OSHA training)
Fiber optic certification
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range:
$ $105050

This range is based on our market pay structures.

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:

business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
