The VPR provides leadership and strategic direction for a variety of research support offices as well as 16 University-wide centers and institutes. The Executive Assistant to the Vice President will provide thoughtful and anticipatory executive support to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service in a dynamic and fast-faced environment. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational functions in support of the Vice President including; calendaring, meeting and travel coordination, communications, report and presentation creation, support for research events, office management, sourcing and procurement. As the first point of contact for the office, the Executive Assistant will exemplify the highest level of professionalism and support, and liaise with a variety of stakeholders including University leadership and external collaborators and guests. Utilizing a proactive support approach, the EA will triage requests as received and ensure the VPRs needs are continually met, and the Office of Research remains steadfast in its mission to provide leadership, direction and support across the University community. Additionally, the EA will provide project coordination for a variety of annual initiatives including budget hearing preparations, research award proposals and annual reports. Ideal candidates will be extremely organized and attentive to detail, have superior customer service skills and exhibit exceptional professionalism and discretion. Required Skills

Bachelors degree with 3-5 years experience or Master's Degree and 1-3 years of related experience.

Required Experience

Qualifications:
