Job Title: Financial Management Specialist

Job Description:

  • Manage awarded grants and contracts efficiently.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to prepare accurate effort reports.
  • Assist in the development of administrative and regulatory components for grants and contracts.
  • Review and obtain approval for budget changes requested by grant principal investigators.
  • Monitor and maintain award budgets, ensuring clear communication with PI/PD.
  • Prepare and submit reports to funding agencies.
  • Support Finance in annual A133 preparation and audit participation.

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting principles, practices, and financial analysis.
  • Proven skills in using computer and spreadsheet software.
  • Familiarity with federal regulations such as 2 CFR Part 200 (federal OMB Circulars A-133, A-21, A-102).

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required, preferably in accounting or a related field.

Special Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  • Solid experience working with WORD and Excel.
