Stormwater Project Manager

The Water Environment Group at GBA is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer with over 5 years of experience to assist with Stormwater projects in Chesterfield, MO. GBA's Stormwater Team collaborates with various public and private entities to develop conveyance systems and storage facilities aimed at reducing flooding and pollution from Stormwater runoff. Our projects range from Water Quality Study and Design, Stormwater Master Planning, to Stream and Riverine Site Evaluation and more.

  • Assist with field data collection including streams, storm and sewer systems
  • Utilize various software to produce figures and drawings
  • Review existing reports for design projects
  • Prepare technical reports and project designs
  • Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models
  • Oversee construction observation
  • Other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:
  • BS in Civil, Biosystems, or Agricultural Engineering
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Word, Excel & GIS Mapping
  • Experience with Stormwater systems design and water quality study
  • Detail-oriented and dedicated to quality work
  • Ability to work on fast-paced projects
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8, and PCSWMM a plus
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional local day travel
  • Some overnight travel
