• Perform experiments and tabulate and analyze research.
• Support analytical testing process using standard lab support knowledge in the collection and review of conditions, including preserving samples, completing sample preparation, documenting, and communicating results.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field.

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Condition of Employment:

• Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in biology, cancer biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics, or related field.
• Prior experience or background within an experimental or wet lab (eg, cell culture, rodent models, molecular biology techniques).
• Previous internship (eg summer experience) or extracurricular (outside of college lab courses) experience in an academic research laboratory.
• Previous Full time employment in an academic research lab.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and orally.

The starting hiring range for this position has been established as $45,000 to $57,240. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
