Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary and peripheral angioplasty, stenting, and other cardiovascular interventions.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including fluoroscopy and imaging systems.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including medical history, test results, and procedure notes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental performance.

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a specialty in cardiovascular invasive procedures.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
