Job Summary
The Kentucky Neuroscience Institute is seeking a Patient Relations Assistant to check patients in and check patients out, schedule patient appointments, answer phones, and complete patient registrations for the appointment.
Will work with cash collections, schedule ancillary services, obtain pre-certifications, and correct registration of patients in the system.Verify insurance and demographic data, reconcile end of day process, provide excellent customer service, and monitor wait times and expectations.
Resolve patient complaints in an empathetic and timely fashion, provide teamwork and leadership to prevent and resolve service failure process problems.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Requires knowledge and skills such as advanced word processing, office procedures, and administrative abilities.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience
Associate's Degree or higher and three or more years related experience preferred.
