The Financial Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring courteous and efficient service to both internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inputting referrals from external sources and Johns Hopkins Care at Home personnel.
  • Collaborating closely with Home Care Coordinators and the Infusion RN Scheduler for new patient admissions.
  • Accurately verifying patient benefits and obtaining initial authorizations.
  • Relaying clinical and logistical information to Team Pharmacists and Customer Service Representatives for new patient referrals.

This role demands precision, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work seamlessly with various teams to support patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum three years experience in office and/or retail setting, experience in a health care setting preferred.
