My client is an industry leader in the manufacturing space located in the north suburbs of Chicago. Their products are utilized in food production across North America as they are on a mission to provide clean energy to feed the world sustainably They are a global, multi-billion dollar manufacturer looking to add an Accountant to join them on that mission

My client is looking for someone with strong accounting acumen and experience with month-end close that is seeking an opportunity to build a long-term Accounting career. My client offers top-tier training and mentorship that will allow you to sharpen the skillset you have and learn new skills across various aspects of Accounting and Finance.

Job Description

Assist with month-end duties including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end analysis, etc. Support AP activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoicesRegularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accountsAssist in fixed asset transactions and reporting Provide detailed analyses and explanations of transactions where neededCommunicate and assist with providing documentation for external auditorsAd hoc analysis as needed
