The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) with supervisory duties and responsibility for the 24/7 operations of their designated units.

Works with the NM to improve evidence-based practices/changes in their assigned areas.
Provide coverage for other ANMs as needed. May float to cover other clinical areas within GEC.

Held responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and provides input into the evaluation of individual staff performance.

Enhances care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.

Adheres to ethical principles in decision-making, fostering accountability at personal, organizational, and staff levels.
Demonstrates leadership in delivering and improving holistic care through collaborative strategies with others.

Preferred Experience:
BSN preferred. Candidate will have 2-3 years of management, charge nurse, or leadership experience. Preferred candidate will have 2-5 years of recent Hospice experience.
