Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including pre, intra, and post-procedure care
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote health and wellness
- Administer medications and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- At least one year of specialized nursing experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- National Nursing Certification in related field
- Knowledge of surgery process and podiatry surgical experience
- Outpatient surgical specialty experience
