Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including pre, intra, and post-procedure care
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote health and wellness
  • Administer medications and procedures as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or the District of Columbia
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • At least one year of specialized nursing experience equivalent to the next lower grade level
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • National Nursing Certification in related field
  • Knowledge of surgery process and podiatry surgical experience
  • Outpatient surgical specialty experience
