We are seeking a Human Resource Partner to join our dynamic team. This position goes beyond traditional HR functions, offering you the opportunity to shape and execute HR strategies that align with our organizational goals. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving a positive working culture across multiple manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will span across five key areas: Talent Management, Strategic HR Activities, Organizational Effectiveness, Culture and Engagement, and Leadership Development.

This role offers a hybrid work model giving you the opportunity to work from either our Pasadena or Freeport, TX office. Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, Petrochemicals N.A., you will have a central role in driving our organization's success

As a Human Resources Partner, You Create Chemistry By...
  • Developing and executing HR strategies that align with business objectives for approximately 400 employees across multiple manufacturing sites (Pasadena, TX, Freeport, TX, Geismar, LA, and Cornwall, Canada). You will also benefit from local HR support at Freeport, Geismar, and Cornwall for day-to-day operations.
  • Managing employee relations, overseeing, and periodically conducting thorough investigations in close partnership with local HRBPs and the corporate compliance team.
  • Leading employee development programs based on feedback from employee surveys to foster a continuous learning culture, working hand in hand with leaders, as well as analyzing HR metrics to identify trends, gain insights, and propose proactive solutions.
  • Partnering with mid-level to senior-level leaders to enhance organizational effectiveness through assessments and improvements in team structures, processes, and workflows.
  • Guiding communication planning and change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during organizational changes.
  • Serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic insights and solutions that align with business objectives. Additionally, you will offer coaching and mentorship to senior leaders, empowering them to enhance their leadership skills and drive effectiveness.
  • Overseeing and supporting training and development programs for first-time supervisors, from the shop floor to senior leadership, as well as driving succession planning initiatives and working closely with leadership to identify and develop high-potential employees.

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Have the ability and willingness to lead HR-related trainings (presentations) across leaders and individual contributors.
  • Possess a solid understanding of HR best practices and a proactive mindset to continuously benchmark and stay updated on industry trends, along with a genuine interest in expanding your HR skillset.
  • Demonstrate a solid track record in HR roles focusing on employee engagement, positive employee relations, and talent development, as well as expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycles, including successful stakeholder engagement, and implementing effective change management strategies.
  • Possess the ability to think be a curious thinker/learner, and know when to raise your hand for support, and to drive results.
  • Have the ability to travel and work from other sites (Pasadena and Freeport, TX) on a regular basis, dependent on regular work location.
