Quality Control Technician for MEDTOX

In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Flexibility may be required to work weekends or additional hours as needed. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
The schedule for this position will be: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform MEDTOXScan Reader inspections
- Perform pre- and post-production testing using the IDR reader and MEDTOXScan Reader, and final Finished Goods inspection prior to Distribution release
- Review Device History Records for completeness
- Perform RMTP testing for incoming inspection of raw material and components, including controls testing and evaluation
- Process customer returns
- Perform complaint investigation testing
- Perform stability testing
- Other duties may be assigned
Requirements:
- An associate degree in medical laboratory technology or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience preferred
- Experience making routine laboratory measurements w/ laboratory measuring equipment and prior use of sample plans
- Experience with immunoassays or chemical tests preferred
- Knowledge of database software; spreadsheet information and Word Processing software preferred
